All volunteers must be at least 12 to volunteer with a parent on site and 14 years of age or older to be dropped off.
I don’t have any horse experience can I help?
Yes! We are more than willing to train you! Most of our volunteers have learned most, if not all, they know on the job.
I don’t have experience with children. Can I still help?
Of course! All you need is patience and kindness and our staff will teach you all you need to know.
What do I do as a volunteer?
Everything! Volunteers tack, groom, feed, lead lessons, sidewalk lessons, tidy up around the barn, sweep, organize and anything else that needs to be done! Around Scooters we believe that no volunteers is above barn chores!
